Entry 1
I just came back from south padre island, while i was there it was so amazing (comma splice). The first thing I did when we got to the hotel was jumping into the pool and letting it all sink in. I finally came up for air a minute later and and heard my friends calling me. So I got out of the pool and went to the beach with them. There we did soccer, frisbee, wrestling, football, and us just being ourselves and having fun.

Name Game
I found out that sydney has been given quitea few nick- names. Some of her nick- names are "Sid the kid,"and "Sydneylou" which if i remember correctly she said that it was her and her mothers name combined which i found rather interesting about Sydney's name. Her middle name Noel stands for christmas.she said that she liked her name and given the chance she wouldnt change it.

My thoughts on the Brain Video
I was thinking about when I learned how to talk. I thought how it is easier to read something, then it is to talk about it. Reading and writing have always been my strong suit. But not speaking, im getting off topic, back to the reflection. I wonder how some people can remember everything but, how most people can forget stuff in less than a day. I find the brain an interesting topic because sense scientists and neoraligists don't know everything about the brain that someone could just come up and say that's wrong what you are saying or here's something that no one else knows yet. I'm rather curious if we ever do get floating cars in the future though. Wait I got off topic again... dang it! Well, that's what I thought about the video.

My neighborhood
I woke up this morning with Sophie (my sisters cat) on my face. I opened my eyes and saw nothing but darkness,so I sat up immediately in my bed and see Sophie go flying onto the wall in front of my bed. You would think that cats would be
calm and not be crazy. But Sophie thinks that she is a dog. My neighbors dog I feel sorry for, because they leave him outside 24/7 which would cause him to bark and whimper. Once I found him on the side of the street all filthy and abandoned. So I got him and cleaned and fed him. Then I gave him back to the neighbor, and they looked annoyed that I fond him, but they still said "thank you." So they still kept the dog outside and he wold still bark and yelp whenever it was nighttime. So I got the dog back and put him in a shelter where I made sure they wouldn't kill him. Eventually he found a good family. Now my neighbor hates me because they knew that my family took the dog but they dont have any proof. So now they just hate us.

Entry 2
I saw Betty White's Off Their Rockers last night, and I can't stop thinking of how funny it was. Wait, I need to tell you what this show is about. This is about old people or Senior Citizens who prank younger people. It can be anything from, two of the senior women dressing up like nuns and telling younger guys about their new strip club. To an old guy pretending to be blind and throwing bird food on a person. Last night's episode by far the funniest one yet. I wonder how they can do all of this and not get in trouble. Oh yeah, there was this one episode where an old guy gave this woman a camera and said I'm going to come back running through here and when I say "Take my picture" you take it okay. The woman said "okay" and watched the old man disappear. Then, the old guy came running back through the mall (which is where they both were) naked and says "take my picture," so the woman gave him a weird look, but finally took the picture. That's it.

Entry 3
This morning was one of the most hectic days that I've had all summer. I woke up this morning the same time as usual for the past three days, and even got her early on most days. But, no not today. Today I was late. I didn't understand how a little rain could slow down traffic this much, but then I realized that with the slippery roads come reckless drivers. They will speed or cut you off and you always have to be watching out for the othemyr driver. I had to help my mom on the way there because there was this one guy who wasd in a huge truck who decided to tailgate our car. I did my own version of "waving" at the tailgater which then caused him to honk at me, and then pass.

Descriptive Instructions of a Shape
First off, you need a writing utensil of some sort. Then you need to get some pieces of paper (preferably lined paper). Okay, now we are ready to begin. Take your writing utensil and place it clamly in your hand but make sure that you have a firm grip. Then, you will draw a circle with it's diameter being 4. Make sure that you make a circle and not an oval. Then draw a line on the middle right outside part of the circle. Then at the bottom end points of the two lines draw a half-circle connecting the two end points together. Now all you do is draw the other half of the circle and you are finished.

MY FAVORITE PERSON
My speech teacher Mrs. Smith is by far my favorite person. She is the one who helped me throughout my life in Indiana. She stood up fore when I couldn't speak to my teachers and fellow students. She knew that I tried my hardest just to say a word. But I couldn't. The teachers kept thinking that I was mentally retarded. My fourth and fifth grade teachers understood my situation. This would make mrs. Smith so flustered that she could barely speak. She would make me write what I wanted to say. Then she would show it to my teachers and say "This is how smart he is. He can write paragraphs of what he is thinking and what he wants to say. Just because someone can't speak doesn't make them mentally retarded or stupid!" She would always say that last sentace with a little anger in her voice. I admired her for that. I've never forgotten that she did that for me. For 8 straight years, and she never looked at me once like there was something wrong with me. That is why she is my favorite person. She never gave up on me, and I never gave in to those teachers.

PERSUASIVE ESSAY
I like to play football with my friends. Especially when we play tackle football. I am not on the school team but I have a team of my own friends. Being active helps us relax and relieve tension and also meet new people who ask to join our draft. The important thing is not whether you are part of a school team or a draft team but that you are being physically active in school.
The football players on the school team tend to stay together and not allow outsiders into their group. In class they are unapproachable and they are always talking about how much they can bench. Being part of the team means that you look our for each other as a family does. From morning practices to afterschool games and everything in between you will usually never see this group apart.
Everyday holds new memories since everyone gets to share their talents and thoughts. There isn't just one leader or coach yelling out plays. This helps us stay active and healthy. THis also helps by relieving stress due to teachers yelling and them giving out outrageous amounts of homework. If you are just playing with your friends and not competitively, then you will be less likely to take someone's spot. We don't have first or second strings so everyone plays.
There really is no difference between playing on the school team as opposed to playing with a draft team except for how it makes your feel. Some would feel more pride in being part of a school team but the irony is that they may not even get to play at all. But if they were on a draft tem, they they would never have to worry about sitting out. And isn't that why we join a team, to play.
Entry 4
My Tia Penny is coming today because she wants to spend time with us. It's been so long since the last time I saw her. I hear that she is moving down and is actually going to live in San Antonio. I'm happy that she moved out of Lubbock and moving down here. I'm also proud of her because she finally got her permit. I've wanted her to be able to drive for a while now and so has my mom on this subject. Once I get out of here all of my family is going to Mi Pueblo. It's been too long waiting to go there and enjoy the atmosphere and cuisine. Then one we get back my Tia Penny will probably be watching one of the Twilight movies that she loves so much. I will probably end up watching one or two with her.
